Mr. Potatohead’s sign says “Come to Daddy”
One of the gals’ says “I like girls too!”

I must say, the setlist for Rush’s opening show tonight looks, really, really, really good to me!

As with most people, there’s a song or two I could do without, but there’s a handful of old songs that haven’t been played in quite some time.

2007 World Tour Google Mapped

Google Maps now allow you to create your own points of interest, in a very easy, non-technical way. To test it out, I mapped the locations for all the venues for the upcoming tour.

Please note, some of the locator pins may not be in the best place. As a result, if you choose to generate driving directions from (or should I say “to”) them, please review the map and don’t follow the directions blindly. Let this serve as a disclaimer — I’d hate for anyone to get lost based on what I’ve made. Use this as a guide only.

10:18 a.m. - Scored center orchestra, row K for Virginia Beach.

10:36 a.m. - Scored center orchestra, row B!

As of 10:45. I’ve seen center orchestra rows B, J and K. It’s totally random, but if you’re willing to potentially eat the cost of the other ticket(s), don’t give up — you might get better seats.

Any readers out there that want to go to the Virginia Beach show? I’ve got a single ticket, Orchestra 2, Row K available.

If you’re going to be ordering tickets on Tuesday, March 27, here’s some info regarding setting up your account on musictoday.com.

In a nutshell: if you just submitted an email address, that’s only half of it… you should create a “shopping” account as well. This will save you some time/ headache while in the heat of battle trying to get better seats than I have.

First “Review” of Snakes & Arrows and Other Items

Dave Ling had the opportunity to preview Snakes & Arrows and writes a mini-review. It’s kind of thin and doesn’t go into too much detail, although he states that “Far Cry” is “probably the best song”… which I hope it’s not.

Unofficial tour dates are posted at rushisaband.com. Official announcement of dates is supposed to happen on Monday, March 26.

Two “Firm” Dates

Ticketmaster has two shows listed as going onsale March 31: Bristow, VA on June 23 and Red Rocks, CO on August 8. Everything else is unconfirmed as of yet but will start firming up over the course of the next week.
